Ramon Surroca: 40 years tracing stories on an MTB
MY ADVENTURE
My adventure with MTB began four decades ago, when I bought my first mountain bike. Since then, my life has revolved around two wheels and the adrenaline of off-road terrain.
My background comes from the motor world, on both two and four wheels, where I competed in motocross and dirt rallies (Suzuki Cup and participant in the Baja Aragón), but it was on the bike where I found my true endurance.
MY PASSION
I have pushed my limits in legendary races such as Titan Desert (twice), the 24h Resistència Finale Liguria BTT in Italy together with my son, the Ruta del Ter (200 km), Monegros, Euskadi Extrem, l’Esperxada, and the 100 km of Montseny four times.
But I do not only enjoy riding; I am also passionate about teaching and organising. I have been a spinning instructor for 15 years at Gimnasio Triops in Banyoles, and I led the organisation of the “25 hores de BTT Pla de l’Estany”. I also took part twice as a support rider in the Epic Enduro MTB in France.
Today, my goal is for you to experience the mountains with the same intensity that I do, but with the confidence that comes from 40 years of accumulated experience.
